The story of Laurel and Daphne Wolfe, identical twins with both their own childhood language and a love for English.
The book tells their story, and then stories, sprinkled with word play and grammar rules.

I liked the switch and dance between the story and the girls’ (and then women’s) fascination with language and how it determines their directions.

Not the best book ever but a perfectly readable and enjoyable
